The Burton

Washington Gateway is a 1 million square foot, award-winning mixed-use Office, retail, and residential development in the NoMa submarket of Washington, D.C. Bordered by the intersection of New York and Florida Avenues to the west, and the Metropolitan Branch Trail to the east, the site is within one block from the New York Avenue Metro Station, and is organized around an interior urban plaza, providing excellent visibility from and accessibility to Florida and New York Avenues.

Construction is underway on Phase II of the development with The Burton. The 15-story residential building will contain 387 residential units, 31 of which will be affordable for residents making 60% AMI or below. Public amenities will include a double-height, publicly accessible trail lobby for riders on the MBT, complete with bike ramps, maps, elevators, water fountains, an emergency call box and a bike repair area.

Phase III will deliver 254 units, 23 of which will be affordable for residents making 60% AMI or below.
